We all need encouragement.
We all need a word of encouragement every now and then. Sometimes we may have to encourage ourselves and other times God allows someone to stop by or call just to give us a word. When I receive encouragement I call them "nuggets."
I refer to them as nuggets because it is a piece of valuable information that I can carry with me for a lifetime. I do not take it for granted when someone gives me a "nugget" especially when I feel that it is an investment in what I am trying to do. I have asked myself at sometimes, "what am I trying to do?" I have come to the realize that "I" no longer need to "try" to do anything. I need to do what I was "gifted" to do and not what I "think" I should do.
My aunt by marriage has been in our family for approximately 3 years, and when we first met I fell in love with her spirit. Since my sewing journey she has given me nuggets by way of sending me sewing patterns, tools and cards with a little message written inside. I appreciate her and admire her for what she has done.
I wrote this poem and I hope it inspires someone. Always remember that anytime you receive a word of encouragement just be thankful for that "Nugget!"
Nuggets
Everyone has a word to say but when said will it cause my tears to melt away?
Will your words encourage me to continue on or will they make me feel like I am all alone?
Nuggets
These are words that run so deep but yet they are so strong. Strong enough to cause me to hold on, when I feel that life has done me so wrong or I feel I am not good enough to make life my own.
Nuggets
I will hold on to in spite of the outcomes, in spite of the hopes and dreams that never come.
Nuggets
They are treasures that can be passed on and on and on. Treasures for my children and their children and so on. Treasures that can never been taken and put away from me regardless if I do wrong.
Nuggets
Everyone has the ability to produce those but only if you are willing to stop holding on to negativity and inabilities and focus on tranquility. You to will experience the simplicity that a Nugget can bring to your conformability .
